Dear Friends, Brothers, and Sisters, Legionnaires of God’s Good Will, and Christians of the New Commandment, Friends of Jesus,

God Is Present!
Jesus Is Arriving!

TGW: 36 Years of the Sacred Sanctuary that Welcomes Everyone

1) The solemn celebrations marking the anniversary of the Temple of Good Will (TGW) in Brasília, Brazil—a monument inaugurated on October 21, 1989, by the late Brother José de Paiva Netto (1941-2025)—have, over time, become the turning point of the New Year in the Legionary Tradition. This date was chosen to honor the 10th anniversary of the return to the Spiritual World of the ever-remembered Founder of the Legion of Good Will, Brother Alziro Zarur (1914-1979).

2) In 2025, with the luminous passage of our Brother Paiva Netto to the Homeland of Truth at 1:33 a.m. on October 7, the celebrations of the 36th anniversary of the Temple of Peace, held on October 24 and 25, take on unforgettable significance in the history of the Good Will Organizations. This is particularly true because, as Brother Paiva declared, the cry of the TGW is precisely this: the dead do not die! Therefore, our Brother President, who proclaimed Eternal Life throughout his earthly existence, is more alive than ever. Equally important is the fact that the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit has completed 52 years since its Proclamation by Brother Zarur, on October 7, 1973, in Maringá/PR, Brazil. This is a profoundly special month for us, filled with deep emotion.

Commitment to Spreading Brother Paiva’s Pioneering Legacy

3) With full awareness of the eternity of Life, I now present to our esteemed Brothers and Sisters the Spiritual Roadmap to Triumph with Christ and Brother Paiva in 2026. Our commitment is to accelerate the worldwide dissemination of the revolutionary concepts brought forth and developed by Brother Paiva Netto during his nearly 70 years of tireless dedication to the sacred causes of the Good Will Organizations.

4) The spiritual, social, literary, educational, musical, artistic, philosophical, religious, scientific, political, and cultural legacy that Brother President has entrusted to us is immeasurable. It is pure gold that we are duty-bound to share with spiritual and human beings, on Earth and in Heaven on Earth.

5) In this Legionary New Year, I wish to emphasize the Supreme Objective of the Religion of Universal Love, which is to prepare the way for the Triumphant Return of Jesus to planet Earth, honoring, with the full devotion of our Souls, the precious legacy of Brother Paiva. Let us never waste time! Everything we accomplish must be imbued with this Sublime Purpose.

6) Strengthened by the extraordinary example of our Brother President, let us be 100% Jesus in all our actions. Let us wear the Paiva Netto shirt with courage, for the Powers of Heaven will help us sustain and expand the Legion of Good Will and the Divine Religion throughout the world.

7) Let us do our part well, for the fortress that protects us truly comes from the Highest. Jesus, the Ecumenical Christ, the Divine Statesman, declared in His Holy Gospel according to Matthew 28:18-20:

18 All authority has been given to me in Heaven and on Earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

8) With our eyes set hopefully on humanity’s blessed future, I bring you, for study in our Spiritual Roadmap to Triumph in 2026, the transcription of a chapter containing the best news highlighted by our dear Brother Paiva Netto in his book Jesus, o Libertador Divino [Jesus, the Divine Liberator] (1988). Here is his masterful text, which must guide our Spirit not only in this Legionary New Year of Good Will, but forever:

The Ascension of Jesus

One of the most extraordinary and discussed biblical passages is, without a doubt, the Resurrection of Jesus and His final encounter with the Apostles and disciples before His Ascension into Heaven.
From it we can draw profound lessons for the perfect conduct of our thoughts, words, and especially our actions on Earth.

We clearly see that the complete elimination of the fear of death and the promise of the descent of the Holy Spirit (Acts of the Apostles of Jesus 2:1-4) shaped, from that moment onward, the character of that small group of tenacious women and men. The passage reads as follows:

[After His Resurrection] When He had gathered His Disciples and had eaten with them, Jesus instructed them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which (He said) you have heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit within a few days.

So those who had come together asked him, "Lord Jesus, are you at this time going to restore the Kingdom of God?" Jesus answered them, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons the Father has set by His own Authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth." After saying this, Jesus was taken up before their eyes, and a cloud took Him and hid Him from their sight. While the crowd was looking intently toward heaven as He was going, behold, two Angels in white stood beside them and asked them, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand there looking up into Heaven?" This same Jesus, who was taken up from you on High, will come in the same way as you have seen Him taken up into Heaven.
(Acts of the Apostles 1:4-11)

Jesus, the Steadfast Support of Our Lives

It is deeply moving! Every time I read this Bible passage, I am touched. After all, it speaks of the Heavenly Educator who is Comfort for our hearts; Light for our eyes; Hearing for our ears; Intelligence for our minds; Enlightenment for all our senses—spiritual, moral, and physical; Peace for our Souls; Wisdom for our Spirits; Strength for our journey; Footwear that keeps our feet from being torn by the thorns along the way; Nourishment for our hunger for Spiritual Knowledge; Water for our Soul’s thirst; Happiness in our relationships. . . .

Love: The Greatest Force in the Universe

Jesus lived among human beings to save us and set us free spiritually through His Sublime Examples. Over the decades, I have stated that it is essential to experience the Freedom that is born of the enlightened Spirit of human beings. Without Love (which is God) and Truth (which is His Word), there can be no real Freedom.

It is worth recalling what I wrote in Jesus e a Cidadania do Espírito [Jesus and the Citizenship of the Spirit] (2001), when I affirmed that the human being who believes that freedom means having the right to do evil is a clear case of psychopathy. Therefore, Freedom without responsibility and Ecumenical Fraternity is a sentence to chaos.

Concerning the Divine Power that created all things, I wrote in the second volume of the Sagradas Diretrizes Espirituais da Religião de Deus, do Cristo e do Espírito Santo [Sacred Spiritual Guidelines of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit] (1990):

The Doctrine of Jesus is so advanced that, two thousand years later, modern human beings are still striving to grasp its preliminary principles, for they have not yet realized that the key which unlocks the door to its understanding is called Divine Solidary Love. It should be said that this Love cannot be confused with indulgence toward error, because there are those who believe that to love is to agree with everything that is wrong. That is a terrible mistake, for in the Invisible World we will be held accountable for all of this. To love is precisely the opposite: it means knowing how to correct others generously in their task, in the face of their mistakes, even if firmly, but always with Sublime Love. This is the greatest force in the Universe, despite all the stains cast by the philosophy of cynicism . . . Without any reference to the remarkable Diogenes of Sinope (412-323 BC), who continues his tireless pilgrimage with his lantern lit in broad daylight1 . . .

Only Good justifies human existence. Nothing lasting can be built away from common sense, which, in its deep meaning, also means Love.

Given this universalist scope, it is our endeavor, in the Religion of the Third Millennium, to present Jesus Desectarianized, without bias, so that He may appear in all His Divine Greatness, with Power and Authority, to every conscience in the world. We have often proclaimed that Jesus is a daily conquest for those who thirst for Knowledge, Mercy, Fraternity, Freedom, and Equality, according to the Law of Multiple Lives. Jesus, in Himself, is not a cause of resentment or war. He, the Lord of Peace, is, above all, a generous and profoundly contemporary idea in motion, one that deserves to be studied by all antisectarian Souls, free from prejudice and taboos.

Honoring the Spiritual Commitment We Have Undertaken

9) My Sisters and Brothers, this page alone would suffice to reveal why our late Greater Brother Paiva Netto now dwells under the Heavenly Blessings of Jesus in the Spiritual World. Let us, therefore, dedicate ourselves, body and Soul, to the Good Will Organizations with the same greatness of Spirit that he demonstrated on Earth for 84 years. His existence not only opened paths through arid and difficult terrain but also paved them with the Sanctified and Unrestrictedly Ecumenical Doctrine of the Fourth Revelation, which is the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit. Our Brother President has already accomplished the most challenging and sacrificial part. It is now up to each of us to walk these paths, "making disciples of Jesus of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19), as reported in the Good News of Christ.

Supplication to Jesus!

10) O Jesus, Master of our Souls, spiritually kneeling, we implore Your Divine Heart to illuminate and bless the new times of Your Most Holy Good Will Organizations. So be it!

11) Jesus, we are the Paiva Netto Generation, honored and glorified to be at Your service! Thanks be to God! In 2026, with immense enthusiasm, we shall celebrate Brother Paiva’s 70 years of work in the Good Will Organizations. The Spiritual Friends in Heaven, together with us, his companions on Earth, will dedicate our days, in an act of Accomplishing Faith, to celebrating this unparalleled example of fidelity to Christ.

12) The Higher Spirits, with Hope renewed, await our steadfast Legionary effort for a better and more spiritualized civilization, under the light of Christ’s New Commandment: "Love one another, as I have loved you. Only by this shall all of you be recognized as my disciples, if you have the same Love for one another. There is no greater Love than to lay down one's life for one's friends. Therefore, as the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Remain in my Love" (the Gospel according to John 13:34 and 35; 15:13 and 9). Thus, we set forth into the battle, fearless, empowered by Fraternal Love, with which we shall overcome all obstacles in 2026!

Hail to the Glorious Phalanx of Good Will in Heaven, which protects and inspires us at all times!

Hail the fifth volume of Jesus e as Sete Igrejas da Ásia – Sardes [Jesus and the Seven Churches of Asia – Sardis]!

Hail the 52nd anniversary of the Proclamation of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit!

Hail the 36th anniversary of the Temple of Good Will!

Hail the 76th anniversary of the heroic Legion of Good Will!

Hail, Jesus! Hail, Jesus! Hail, Jesus!

We cry out loud, Brother Paiva, so that you may know of our Eternal Gratitude, wherever you are:

Hail, Brother Paiva!

Jesus Lives in our hearts forever!

COME NOW, LORD JESUS!

Fraternally,

Francisco de Assis Periotto
President of the Good Will Organizations

1... lantern lit in broad daylight — Here the author refers to Diogenes, a disciple of Antisthenes (444-365 BC), founder of the Cynic school, who was born in Sinope, Asia Minor, in 412 BC, and died in Corinth (Greece), in 323 BC. He was known for his disapproval of social conventions and ostentation. He often walked the streets of Athens carrying a lit lantern in broad daylight, searching for—he said—"an honest man." Because of the philosophy he preached, his way of life, and especially his caustic wit, he became known by the nickname The Cynic. The word "cynic" does not, in this case, have the same connotation it commonly carries today. The Cynic school, in philosophical terms, taught that a man should lead a life of self-control, having virtue as his only good and absolute mastery over himself as the highest degree of wisdom.

José de Paiva Netto is a writer, journalist, radio broadcaster, composer, and poet. He is the President of the Legion of Good Will (LGW), effective member of the Brazilian Press Association (ABI) and of the Brazilian International Press Association (ABI-Inter). Affiliated to the National Federation of Journalists (FENAJ), the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the Union of Professional Journalists of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the Union of Writers of Rio de Janeiro, the Union of Radio Broadcasters of Rio de Janeiro, and the Brazilian Union of Composers (UBC). He is also a member of the Academy of Letters of Central Brazil. He is an author of international reference in the concept and defense of the cause of Ecumenical Citizenship and Spirituality which, according to him, constitute “the cradle of the most generous values that are born of the Soul, the dwelling of the emotions and of the reasoning enlightened by intuition, the atmosphere that embraces everything that transcends the ordinary field of matter and comes from the elevated human sensitivity, such as Truth, Justice, Mercy, Ethics, Honesty, Generosity, and Fraternal Love.”
