The first book of the Bible, the mosaic Genesis, narrates in code, the appearance of Earth. Maybe the Cosmos always existed in a different way, even before the “Big Bang”, of illustrious George Gamow (1904-1968). Or else, what was there before? (What about investigating the genome of the Universe?). Let’s inquire into the Book of Revelation, and prove that it doesn’t announce the end of Human existence, on the opposite, the text ends with a blessing (chapter 22, versicle 21):

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.

There is more: on chapter 21, we find the new Jerusalem, the new Heaven, the new Earth, after changes never seen, provoked by Humanity itself, as I have exhaustively quoted. It is not a punishment from God; but it is the free reaping from an obligatory sowing.

Human acts and consequences

When I state that we shouldn’t be afraid of the Apocalypse, I am not saying that the things men and nations planted won’t have their tragic or benefic results. Do you want and emblematic example? What have we been doing to Nature! This will cause serious consequences, that are already happening. The only way not to see it, is if you don’t want to. Well, the ecological conscience is expanding in the world. That is good. We can’t set fire to our own collective home. Neither make a slum of it.

The scientists warning

Do you remember the warning of many scientists, in 1983, one of the hottest years in History, concerning the green-house effect in the near future, soon denied by others, who supposedly, would be taking care of the powerful cartels interests, which didn’t want to decrease their profit, not even a little bit? They forget that this time we might loose our own house, the Earth. The facts, today, have global repercussion, that means immediate. It seems that some insist in closing their eyes to such sinister results. That’s why I prefer the strong alarming conclusion of the first scientists mentioned, even because the disagreeable changes are already in course, causing considerable damage, unless energetic and dynamic steps are taken by the government, forced by their citizens, who are finally waking up...

This awakening is also part of the prophecies. We observe the illustrative word of Apostle Paul, in his Epistle to the Romans, 13:11 and 12:

“11 Awareness of the End of Time. And do this because you know the time; it is the hour now for you to awake from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed;

12 the night is advanced, the day is at hand. Let us then throw off the works of darkness (and) put on the armor of light;”

It is urgent to demonstrate that prophecy is not a synonym of plague, but the exhibition of the cause and effect relations. It is the total amount of all we did of good or bad. It is necessary for us to learn this to make them an element for our conscious progress, in order to become, in good sense, agents of our future. The French writer Joubert (1754-1824) comment is not in vain: “When unhappiness derives from a mistake, we attack destiny”.

To fear the Apocalypse?

We don’t always perceive the mechanics of the Cause and Effect Law, because its action is natural, organic. At the right time, according to God’s Watch, we will all reap what we sowed. Therefore, it is not with the Apocalypse that we should take precaution; on the contrary, because for those who read without preconceived ideas, it is a nice message from Jesus, with two thousand years. Terror, are in fact, the crazy human acts, private or collective.

José de Paiva Netto (1941-2025), a writer, journalist, radio broadcaster, educator, composer, poet, the President Emeritus and Consolidator of the Legion of Good Will, and Spiritual Leader of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit. In short, the mathematical constant that harmonizes the equation of spiritual, moral, mental, and human existence. Now, without the understanding that we exist on two planes―not only on the physical plane―it will be difficult to build a Society that is truly Ecumenical, Altruistic, and Solidary, since we would still be ignoring that the knowledge of Superior Spirituality elevates the character of creatures and, consequently, leads to the construction of the Planetary Citizenship.”
