Taking a Spiritual Stand Through Faith

Dear Sisters, Brothers, and Friends of God’s Good Will on Earth and in the Higher Spiritual Plane, as well as all Christians of the New Commandment, Friends of Jesus, in Brazil and across the globe,

God Is Present!
Jesus Is Arriving!

We are on the eve of the closing event of the 48th International Forum of the Ecumenical Youth Movement of God's Good Will. This year, 2023, the event will take place on Saturday, July 1st. “Disarming Hearts — For a Culture of Good Will and Peace Born in Jesus!” was the theme chosen by them.

This renewal of the Legionary Generations is crucial for the expansion of our beloved Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit.

With immense joy in our hearts, we witness this transition, bringing a breath of fresh air and strengthening the perseverance of the veterans. Incidentally, on June 29th, I will complete 67 years of dedicated service to the Organizations of God’s Good Will. And I still feel like the same young man who, on June 29th (St. Peter and St. Paul's Day), 1956, walked through those blessed doors.

Within the book series Sagradas Diretrizes Espirituais da Religião de Deus, do Cristo e do Espírito Santo [Sacred Spiritual Guidelines of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit], we have documented the extraordinary lessons of Brother Alziro Zarur (1914-1979), the late Proclaimer of the Divine Religion. These teachings reaffirm the serious task of this brave Ecumenical Youth Movement of all ages in the present era. For this reason, I have forwarded to the Communications 100% Jesus a page published in the second volume of these Sacred Guidelines (1990), in which I once again address the hearts of all of you, Christians of the New Commandment, Friends of Jesus. Its title is “Taking a Spiritual Stand Through Faith,” and it is the 6th Addendum to the chapter titled “Five Practical Lessons From the Universalist Spiritual Center.” I present it as a gift to the fortunate readers of the JESUS IS ARRIVING! magazine, opening, in June, the Legionary Awareness Month. I urge everyone to strengthen even more the sense of Union and Accomplishing Faith in these Holy Houses: the Good Will Organizations. May the Christians of the New Commandment, both on Earth and in the realm of Earth’s Heaven, fulfill the profound duty of revitalizing the indispensable Apostolate of Prayer and Vigilance, as commanded by the Divine Shepherd in His Holy Gospel according to Mark 14:38 and Matthew 26:41:

“Watch [work] and pray so that you may not fall into temptation. Indeed, the Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

This is the individual behavior always worthy of the Blessings of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Heavenly Provider.

Let us now read the mentioned page:

On June 30th, 1973, Zarur called upon the Legionary Family of Good Will, urging them to bear the responsibility of advancing the ideals that had been instilled on Earth by him.

Following the passing of the esteemed Proclaimer of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit—which would take place six years later—the Legionnaires of Good Will embraced this spiritual stand through Faith. During the first great meeting I conducted with them after Zarur's return to the Spiritual World (1979), I emphasized the challenge they had at hand, which was accepted. The remarkable progress achieved by this Divine Work stands as a testament to this commitment.

Today, due to the diligent efforts of those who, under our guidance, believe and persevere in the invigorating power of the Divine Religion, it has undeniably found a place within the hearts of people. Its all-encompassing ecumenical doctrine—rooted in the Gospel-Apocalypse of Christ, revealed in Spirit and Truth, in the light of His New Commandment—has received significant exposure through an array of media channels, with the increase of radio and television programs, newspaper columns, national and international publications (including dozens of books), and now the Internet. Decisive for the expansion of the message of the Religion of the Third Millennium was also the construction of the Temple of Good Will (TGW), the Temple of Divine Ecumenism, in Brasília (Brazil). From the TGW, which is its Spiritual Headquarters, this message is spread to the world, transforming minds, making them comprehensive, ready to understand the need to unite the Humanity from Above (spiritual realm) with the humanity from below (material realm).

The expansion of this groundbreaking Ideal of Good Will and of the New Commandment of Christ, both within Brazil and internationally, only became achievable through the introduction of spiritually revolutionary theses, including: Jesus, the Ecumenical Christ, the Divine Statesman; Decoding The Lord’s Prayer; The Apocalypse of Jesus for the Simple-Hearted; The Law of the Apocalypse: the Law of Deeds; Jesus, the Ecumenical Christ, the Divine Statesman, Academy; Women in the Repair of Nations; The Spirit Olympics; God’s Good Will; Complete Charity: Spiritual and Material; Citizenship of the Spirit; Science of God; Divine Democracy; Disectarianizing Jesus and Christianity; It Is Urgent to Re-educate!; Ecce Deus! [Here is God!]; Economy of Spiritual and Human Solidarity; Ecumenical Spirituality; Sport is Life, not violence!; The Four Progressive and Divinizing Stages of Faith; The Extremely Urgent Formula of Jesus; The Extremely Urgent Economic Formula of Christ; Ecumenical Fraternity; Divine Frequency; Globalization of Solidarity and Globalization of Fraternal Love; Jesus, the Divine Liberator; Manifest of Good Will; There is no death at any point in the Universe; Do not use drugs, to live is better!; The destruction of Nature is the extinction of the human race; New and Broad Concept of the Ecumenical Flock of Jesus; The Spiritual AGROPAZ; The Capital of God; The Law in the light of Eternal Life; Government on Earth begins in Heaven; The Spiritual World is not an abstraction; Everlasting Christmas of Jesus; Suicide does not resolve anyone's anguish; The dead do not die!; The Four Pillars of Ecumenism; Pedagogy of God, Pedagogy of Affection, and Ecumenical Citizen Pedagogy; Politics of God; Religion in the forefront of ethics; If the woman's body belongs to the woman, the baby's body belongs to the baby; The Broad Sense of Citizenship; The Gospel of Sex; Ecumenical, Altruistic, and Solidary Society; Sociology of God and Sociology of the Universe; All humanity is Christian; All women are mothers; Conscious Union of the Two Humanities; To Live Is Better!, and numerous others that we will continue to present. This has contributed tremendously to the growth of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, automatically resulting in its spiritual and material development at the service of Our Lord Jesus Christ through all its areas of action aimed at providing spiritual comfort and enlightenment for peoples. Wherever a Christian of the New Commandment, a Friend of Jesus, is present, they will be embraced by the spiritual framework of the Divine Religion, spreading the Light of Christ to eager hearts.

It is the responsibility of the new generations, in harmony with the previous ones, to uphold the same loyal and resolute attitude, so as not to lose merit before God. For, as I always emphasize, there is no generation conflict in the Divine Religion. We must combine the bountiful energy of young people with the wealthy experience of the older ones.

Cycles of Apostolic Work of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit

I present in this timely chapter (of the second volume of these Sacred Guidelines) the definition that came to me as an inspiration regarding the four spiritual and human cycles of apostolic work: religious, political, philosophical, scientific, economic, cultural, artistic, sporting, and more, of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, of the Legion of Good Will, and of the PBV. They are:

1st Cycle (first generation): that of the Johns who, like John the Baptist, are the precursors;

2nd Cycle (second generation): that of the Peters, whose role is comparable to the great fisherman of Galilee, being therefore the consolidators, the shepherds;

3rd Cycle (third generation): that of the Pauls who, like Paul the Apostle, embrace the responsibility of being expansionist preachers who carry the ecumenically unrestricted message of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, with the Politics of God,*1 to the entire world.

4th Cycle (fourth generation): that of the Francises who, with the passionate religiosity of the Saint of Assisi, will be the reapers and harvesters. Those who, with the initiatory Gospel-Apocalypse, as the fourth Biblical Gospel, will govern spiritual-human beings in the third millennium. Built upon the newly established Gospel-Apocalypse foundations laid by previous generations, they will raise a new civilization from the ruins, with the New Order that belongs to the Christ of God—not to the crooked cross*2 of murderers. Through this cycle, we will have the New Heaven and the New Earth, as foretold by Jesus in the Apocalypse, the New Jerusalem, the Capital of God’s Israel,*3 where we find the Temple of Good Will built on the Spiritual Mount Zion. As Brother Zarur used to proclaim, this undertaking will require the efforts of giants, not spiritual pygmies.

It is evident that all these generations are interconnected in solidarity, with Jesus sovereignly permeating their existence. They undergo renewal in successive cycles in the evolution of this Divine Work.

Here it is! May each Missionary Generation inscribe, with letters of Accomplishing Faith, their mark upon the pages of the sacred book of the history of the Religion of Universal Love.

I learned over these years of legionary life that nobody does anything alone. On my 67th anniversary of work in these Organizations—which strive uninterruptedly “for a better world and a happier humanity”—I also share this mark with all those who, with their prayers and support for our initiatives, form the great family of God’s Good Will.

Whoever trusts in Jesus do not waste time, because He is the Great Friend who never abandons a friend along the way.

The closer we are to Jesus, the farther we are from problems!

Serving Jesus is no sacrifice. It is a privilege!

Jesus Lives in Our Hearts Forever!

From the one who loves you,

The Israel of God —Paul to the Galatians 6:16: “And as many as walk according to this rule, Peace and Mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.” It is important to recall that Paul, a former disciple of Gamaliel, served as an Apostle to the Gentiles, since he took the Message of Jesus Christ to non-Jews, extending beyond the political, cultural, and religious boundaries of Hebrew tradition. Paul worked towards the establishment of the Israel of God, transcending beliefs, ethnicities, and any other divisions, formed by both circumcised and non-circumcised individuals. He was a pioneering figure of Unrestricted Ecumenism two thousand years ago, like the Apostle Peter was, as in the case of centurion Cornelius (Acts of the Apostles 10). Read also the third volume of O Brasil e o Apocalipse [Brazil and the Apocalypse] (1996).
