Secrets of success in the CCVD

To the dedicated and heroic Brothers and Sisters who work in the Communication of the Truth of God Campaign (CCVD, in Portuguese) striving for the Benevolent Causes of the Legion of Good Will (LGW).

1 – Be firmly convinced of the importance of the work you do in improving the lives of those in need.

2 – Before initiating any contact, whether by phone or online, always seek inspiration from God, in order to awaken Solidarity in hearts.

3 – Spiritually and emotionally strengthened, present with total transparency and kindness the various meritorious campaigns of the LGW.

4 – Surpass the expectations of your interlocutor, generating not only pleasant surprise but also the joy of being able to support such a magnificent work of Complete Charity: both Material and Spiritual.

5 –Understand that every potential donor has their own unique profile. Hence the need to provide a fraternal and personalized approach, in the light of the New Commandment of Christ: “Love one another, as I have loved you” (the Gospel of Jesus according to John 13:34).

6 – Be prepared to hear objections, and do not see them as a problem, for they may reveal genuine interest in our Charitable Cause.

7 – Always offer a warm and compassionate word to the Sister or Brother who answers our call, especially if they confide that they are going through a difficult situation.

8 – Under no circumstance should you argue with someone who already supports us or who may one day contribute to the LGW’s work. A gesture of gratitude, or even sending them a good thought, makes all the difference. Everything vibrates in the Universe.

9 – Never be intrusive or use any form of pressure when speaking with a potential donor. Respect for the human being is a well-known hallmark of our work.

10 – Finally, hold in the highest regard the decision of the person with whom we communicate―whatever it may be. Keep in your Soul the Hope that the enthusiasm for this Organization will win new hearts of Good Will.

The LGW was born to love and to be loved!

José de Paiva Netto (1941-2025), a writer, journalist, radio broadcaster, educator, composer, poet, the President Emeritus and Consolidator of the Legion of Good Will, and Spiritual Leader of the Religion of God, of the Christ, and of the Holy Spirit. He was an effective member of the Brazilian Press Association (ABI) and the Brazilian International Press Association (ABI-Inter), a member of the National Federation of Journalists (FENAJ), the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), the Union of Professional Journalists of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the Union of Writers of Rio de Janeiro, the Radio Broadcasters Union of Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian Union of Composers (UBC), and the Academy of Letters of Central Brazil. He became an internationally recognized author in the defense of human rights and in his concepts of Ecumenical Citizenship and Ecumenical Spirituality, which, in his own words, represent “the cradle of the most generous values that are born of the Soul, the dwelling of emotions and of reasoning enlightened by intuition; the atmosphere that embraces everything that transcends the ordinary field of matter and comes from elevated human sensitivity, such as Truth, Justice, Mercy, Ethics, Honesty, Generosity, and Fraternal Love. In short, the mathematical constant that harmonizes the equation of spiritual, moral, mental, and human existence. Now, without the understanding that we exist on two planes―not only on the physical plane―it will be difficult to build a Society that is truly Ecumenical, Altruistic, and Solidary, since we would still be ignoring that the knowledge of Superior Spirituality elevates the character of creatures and, consequently, leads to the construction of the Planetary Citizenship.”
